Broadliner TD SYNNEX Deutschland is further expanding its solution portfolio for smart factories and has signed a distribution agreement with the German manufacturer Cybus. Cybus GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, develops software solutions specifically designed for industrial manufacturing and its complex challenges. With its solutions, Cybus empowers factories to digitise their production quickly and in the long term, independent of manufacturers and technologies.

With the increasing number and complexity of digitalisation initiatives, the role of IT in factory planning and digitalisation is also becoming more prominent. The Factory Data Hub enables IT to combine the many requirements, technologies and stakeholders: The software follows principles of Industrial DevOps and in this way enables the agile, fast and scaling integration of digital projects. In this way, IT fosters open collaboration between manufacturing and the business units, thus networking the data source with the data use.

Maximilian Wieser, Teamlead IoT & Data of TD SYNNEX, said about the signing of the contract: "I am very happy about the signing of the contract with Cybus, as they really rethink Industry 4.0 and develop quite outstanding solutions thanks to their creativity and collaboration. So you can for example, implement any IIoT use case based on its infrastructure - whether it is predictive maintenance, condition monitoring or production optimisation. For our sales partners who count industrial customers among their clientele, this is a great addition to our OT portfolio around the manufacturers Secunet and Software AG."

Special features of Cybus Connectware are the fast and global realisation of roll outs and the security that is guaranteed thanks to a security gateway between the shop floor, IT and cloud. The customer retains data sovereignty in any case - undesired external access to the data source is not possible. Load balancing and highly available data transfer achieve stability, which is essential especially for 24/7 producing companies.

Peter Sorowka, CEO of Cybus GmbH, added about the start of the distribution agreement: "the transformation to a smart factory is a challenging undertaking, especially due to the complexity of the structures and technologies. Just like us, TD SYNNEX takes a holistic approach to its customers: Each project must fit into both the existing system landscape and the long-term digitalisation roadmap. We see great potential in our partnership to set new references together with leading system integrators. Our software product fits seamlessly into the TD SYNNEX portfolio and meets the growing demand for a central factory data hub."
