Telephony specialist Mobilezone Deutschland has taken over Siga Exchange GmbH, based in Heilbronn, a few weeks ago. This company operates the telecommunications business on the 11 US Army bases in Germany.
"Siga is a very valuable addition to Mobilezone", says Wilke Stroman, CEO Germany of Mobilezone. "Their strategic alignment strengthens our business with Deutsche Telekom."
Ayhan Sentürk, founder and managing director of Siga Exchange GmbH, says: "with regard to the further development of the Siga business, I see Mobilezone as the right partner for the future. As such, the stage is set for continued success."
Siga has a turnover of around €6 million in 2022. The purchase price will be financed exclusively from the company's own funds, according to the statement. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
