Highlights from Channel Summit EMEA 2025

Writer: Liam McsherryLiam Mcsherry

The 4th edition of Channel Summit came to a close at the weekend, and the final numbers are in.

  • 200 Channel Buyers

  • 70 Brands Represented

  • 420 Attendees

  • 50+ Countries Covered

  • 3000 Pre-arranged Meetings

  • 12 Content Sessions

The ChannelHub team has had time to reflect on another successful event, and we’re pleased to share some highlights from what proved to be a high energy few days of business meetings, networking, content sessions and community building.

AI, Accessories Innovation and Sustainability on the Show Floor

This year’s exhibitors represented a wide remit of consumer technology categories. AI enabled devices featured strongly including Airseeker’s award winning mower and Birdy’s smart bird feeder. Innovation was a common thread amongst the many products on show including Tornado’s smart vacuum cleaner, and Pocketbook’s digital art poster, InPoster.

Sustainability also featured both in products and company messaging with Dbramante1928 highlighting their sustainability credentials, and Uniq showcasing their accessories made from vegan leather. Clean energy and energy storage also featured with Sandberg’s promotion of their solar panel power banks and chargers, and Gendome’s range of portable power stations.

Refurbished Opportunities, AI Educating and Social Selling

Away from the showfloor, a series of keynotes and workshops covered a range of market related topics and trends impacting the channel. GfK’s keynote presentation, delivered by Kelsy McKinley, found room for optimism amongst the wider picture of turbulence, pointing to signs of recovery and growth in the Tech & Durables market.

The Refurbished Insight sessions explored the wider view of the refurbished market with contributions from SecondaryMarket News, insights into Boulanger’s Buy Back programme courtesy of Pascal Chabret, and Closing the Loop, presenting the commercial opportunities for their 1 for 1 e-waste recovery programme. Open & Informed Founder, Carl West, also highlighted the rise of social selling and its impact on the channel.

Best Product Awards

36 vendors took to the stage to pitch their product and compete for the Best Product Awards across x6 categories with a Best Presentation award also in the mix.

Awards, Dinner and Dancing

With 2 full days of meetings out of the way, Channel Summit delegates settled down to an evening of dinner, music and entertainment. Important time in the agenda to get to know new customers and catch up with friends from the industry.

The Gala Dinner also includes the Best Vendor Awards - voted for by the attending retailers and distributors, and drawing upon their overall impression of the exhibitors based on product range, pricing, margin, channel programme and overall quality of interaction. 8 categories were up for grabs and the full list of winners will be announced shortly. Special mention goes to Energizer and Aukey for their good natured and energetic approach to deciding the winner of the Mobile Accessories category!

Early Feedback

We’re still receiving exhibitor and delegate feedback but so far the responses have been extremely encouraging with 96% rating their overall event experience as ‘positive’.
