Hakim joined GfK over than two years ago as Head of Retail for the META Region, and he is right now leading the entire GfK EEMEA Region. Starting his career with a strong retail background with Carrefour France, he spent the last 15 years in a variety of roles across MAF Carrefour in the UAE/Qatar and Virgin Megastore in the UAE and KSA, but as well with X-Cite in Kuwait. Dr. Kiran Nair, Associate Professor of Marketing, Abu Dhabi University

Dr. Kiran Nair is an academic and marketing professional, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Marketing at Abu Dhabi University. Nair holds an MBA in Marketing and a Ph.D. in Marketing, specializing in consumer behaviour. Dr. Nair's research focus encompasses various aspects of Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Green Marketing. Before joining Abu Dhabi University in 2023, Dr. Nair contributed significantly to the academic community during his five-year tenure as an Associate Professor at the Abu Dhabi School of Management, which is part of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
